Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Traveling Journeyman Ironworkers for projects located in and around the Bryan County GA, Area. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate that is based on experience & skill level plus per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Lay out & fabricate structural steel & sheet metal in order to build metal structures such as bridges, stadiums, & other structural buildings

• Weld & cut steel

• Interpret blueprints

• Work with concrete; reinforce steel bars

• Architectural & ornamental work such as glass, windows, stairs, & handrails

• Unload & stack pre-fabricated steel

• Reinforce/Tye rebar in concrete construction

• Connect columns, beams, & griders with bolts or by welding them into place

• Verify vertical & horizontal alignment of steel structures

• Utilize metal shears, torches, & welding equipment to cut, bend, & weld steel

• Place & set heavy machinery

• Erect and/or dismantle structural steel frames of structures

• Operate forklifts, cranes, & other heavy equipment to lift steel columns, beams, & griders according to blueprints

• Other tasks as assigned
